Anyone who suffers from them wants to know the causes of acne and pimples. And of course they want to know the treatment.
Acne and pimples are problems that show up on the skin. They’re embarrassing because everyone can see them. Obviously the problem isn’t fatal but that doesn’t mean it’s not serious, especially to the one who has it.

Types of Acne
There are several types of acne and the causes may be the same or different for each type. The most common type of acne is the one called acne vulgaris. This skin problem usually occurs in adolescents at the time of puberty.

What Are The Causes Of Acne and Pimples?
Pimples show up when the sebaceous glands (oil secreting glands) get blocked. This leads to inflammation of the skin.
One contributing factor to the onslaught of acne is the genetic structure of the individual. Some people are genetically more susceptible to this skin condition than others.
Individuals prone to the dreaded skin condition may also suffer from over productive glands or excessive shedding of skin which can block pores resulting to inflammation.
Sensitive skin is more subject to outbreaks of acne, pimples and blemishes. which care associated with acne as well as the hormonal changes that may occur to individuals. These hormonal changes may be evident during puberty and before or during a woman’s menstrual cycle. Acne can also manifest when the individual is stressed or eating too much fatty or greasy food. Stress can result to lack of sleep which can contribute to skin conditions resulting to blemishes. The food that we eat can also be a big factor to acne because the oils from them will be added to the sebum that our skin produces. Bacteria are also part of the reason why the skin may be inflamed.
Treatment of Acne
Treatment of acne may be as simple as reducing the amount of greasy or fatty food or highly refined foods in the diet. What you eat definitely makes a difference.
Food often triggers acne.
Hormones also play a major role in the condition of skin. Sometime medication in the form of pills or topically may be used. One goal is to control inflammation.
In some situation bacteria play a role and in these cases antibiotics may be needed. If you do take antibiotics be sure to eat yogurt regularly to replace the normal healthy bacteria.
Taking proper care of the skin plays a huge role in controlling acne. Good care of the skin, especially the facial skin as well as the chest, neck and back parts is crucial. Proper skin care reduced the likelihood of clogged pores. It also removes dirt and debri on the skin that can aggrivate problems.
